报告题目:Uniform stability of time-dependent switched systems

报告摘要:

    This talk addresses the uniform stability of time-dependent switched systems. Switched systems, which integrate a family of dynamical subsystems under a switching signal, provide a powerful framework for modeling complex systems with changing dynamics, such as those under cyber-physical attacks or sophisticated control schemes.

    A key challenge lies in ensuring stability when subsystems are not all stable, or are even all unstable. This presentation will explore stability analysis using the method of multiple Lyapunov functions and discuss the critical role of switching signal design—such as concepts like Average Dwell Time (ADT) and Average Activation Time (AAT)—in achieving global asymptotic stability. We will also cover converse Lyapunov theorems and outline strategies for stabilizing systems comprised entirely of unstable subsystems, highlighting the necessary conditions on switching frequency and activation ratios.

专家介绍:

    刘沈豫,2014年获新加坡国立大学机械工程学士及数学双学士学位。2015年获美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳-香槟分校机械工程硕士学位,2020年于同校获电气与计算机工程博士学位。随后在加州大学圣迭戈分校机械与航空航天工程系从事博士后研究工作两年。自2022年起,任北京理工大学自动化学院助理教授。目前主要研究方向包括切换/混合系统稳定性理论、非线性系统李雅普诺夫方法、矩阵扰动理论、分布式算法及数据驱动方法。
