内容摘要:

Discrete-time control encounters a fundamental limitation, namely, the loss of high-gain feedback, due to the closed-loop stability concern. In this talk, we first present real examples to disclose the practical difficulties associated with the discrete-time control, and constraints from control theoretical point of view. Next, we explore alternative solutions characterized by low-gain control as well as feedforward control. We briefly discuss adaptive control approach, estimation approach, learning control approach, and predictive control approach. Finally, some real-life applications are given.

 

许建新教授简介:

许建新于1982年毕业于浙江大学电机系获本科学位,1989年毕业于东京大学电气工学系,先后获得工学硕士与工学博士。日立公司研究所研修员,美国俄亥俄州立大学博士后,美国耶鲁大学访问研究1991年至今在新加坡国立大学电气与计算机系任教。主要研究方向包括:学习理论与控制、变结构控制,计算智能,机电系统和化工过程中的控制应用,以及生物工程问题。
