摘要:
Mobile sensor network can be very useful in personalized air pollutant exposure measurement, which is important for the health and productivity of individuals. Accurate measurement of personal environment is challenging because of the spatially and temporally heterogeneous distribution of pollutant concentrations and noise and drift problems of the low-cost and miniature sensors.  In this talk, I will introduce our work to address the real-time, accurate, and personalized environment measurement problem by designing prototype sensor nodes of future generation mobile sensor networks, developing optimization techniques and systems, and evaluating the mobile sensor networks in real-world deployments.
 
个人简介:
Yun Xiang obtained a BS in Information and Electrical Engineering from Zhejiang University, China and a PhD in Electrical Engineering from the University of Michigan. He has co-authored more than 10 peer-reviewed papers in top conferences and journals, including IPSN, DATE, and DCOSS. He is currently a lecturer in the College of Information Engineering at Zhejiang University of Technology, and his main research interests are embedded systems and sensor networks.
